Initiative de mobilité, pédagogie alternative, citoyenneté et territoires 7
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

This project « Impact 7 » follows the previous ones which were aimed at strengthening knowledge and skills required for professionals working in the youth sector, and developing language, social and intercultural competences through a quality European mobility in the field of adult learning and non-formal education. Since 10 years, the project’s aims were also to reinforce the recognition of non-formal education as a distinct sector and create a network on youth and social work in Europe. We also hope to act on three levels: local, national and international. In the framework of Impact 7, a focus will be put on the formalization, validation and certification of these skills to be mentioned in training references documents. Impact 7 gathers CEMEA’s network and partners from several European countries (Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, etc.) on the mobility of trainees, who are involved in the youth and social fields, during their vocational training (2 to 4 weeks) or after their vocational training (3 to 7 months). It is directed at trainers in vocational training or recent graduates undertaking their training placement abroad within one year of their graduation. This project is conducted by a consortium under the leadership of National association of CEMEA that is responsible for the management of mobility grants and gives pedagogical supports, and the regional associations of CEMEA which organize vocational trainings, crisscross the territory and guide trainees in their mobility. Impact 7 pursues Europe 2020 strategy through its goals: 1-Giving the opportunity to a large number of professionals (youth and social workers) to live a mobility experience in Europe during their vocational training or after being graduated. 2-Improving references documents regarding these professionals with intercultural, language and mobility outcomes and working on their recognition. 3-Raising youth workers’ awareness on the challenges of mobility and training them to conduct mobility projects so that they contribute to multiplier effect and guide these projects. 4-Enabling professionals to explore new pedagogical approaches and to encounter other European stakeholders involved in non-formal education. 5-Introducing CEMEA into networks dealing with mobility in the field of non-formal education at the local, national and European level. Indeed, we contribute to promote vocational mobility as well as social and professional fulfilment of learners by enhancing skills acquired through training experience abroad. Concretely, Impact 7 is made of three phases: the collective preparation of the project, the development of mobilities in several rounds and post-returns assessments. The assessment focuses on European and local partnership. The completion of the work on formalization, validation and certification of acquired skills will be an evaluation criterion. This will include a specific support to trainees, a regular cooperation with hosting tutors and a dialogue with employers and certification bodies. A “strategic partnership” project on the validation and recognition of mobility’s outcomes will be submitted with some partners of Impact 7. Moreover, the collaborative project aiming at the recognition of a common set of core skills for youth workers in Europe will be renewed within our network on non-formal education. The expected outcomes of Impact 7 are: improving the references documents regarding youth and social work by adding mobility’s outcomes, enhancing access to employment, recognizing the importance of non-formal education to educate people about European citizenship and diversity, taking better into account the different audiences in the structures, developing local and European network of associations in relation with inhabitants’ reality.
