Infermieri In Italia -Toscana
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The INFINITO Infermieri in Italia – Toscana project is the continuation of two Leonardo da Vinci Mobility projects (2011: EPIC and 2013: E.SZ.SZ.O.). This project was designed based on years of impeccable cooperation among partners and was refined according to experiences gained from the preceding projects. The structure of the tender remains unchanged: the participants of the project, namely nurses and social worker and nurses participate in an internship in Tuscany, Italy. According to ERASMUS+ KA1 regulations, a consortium was established consisting of Galileo Progetti Nonprofit Kft. (coordinator), Szigeti-Gyula János Egészségügyi Szakképző Iskola (sender institution) and Betűvadász Bt. (trainer). One of the goals of the socially aware, Italian and Hungarian owners of the proposer, Galileo Progetti Nonprofit Kft. registered in Budapest is to promote international cooperation, mobility and exchange of know-how among countries. The Owners of Galileo Progetti have already succesfully participated in previous projects. Szigeti-Gyula János Egészségügyi Szakképző Iskola secondary educational institute has been training health care professionals since 1948. Training for vocational qualification in the selected National Qualification Register (OKJ) programme starts after obtaining Matura for secondary vocational students, and at grade 11 for vocational students. The school has 263 full-time students; 11 of the 18 full-time teachers teach vocational students. Stages take place in health care and social services facilities, under the guidance of vocational technical instructors and non-tenured instructors; the stagess allow students to further develop their skills and routines. In previous projects, the role of the associate of Betűvadász Bt. was to prepare students for the projects. He is still mentoring students in the (now online) language preparation; however, the main focus has shifted to cultural, psychological and motivational preparation of students. The host institution is ARCA Cooperativa Sociale. Students are hosted by nursing homes and social employment facilities operated by ARCA Consortium or one of its members. Participants of the project are students of Szigeti-Gyula János Egészségügyi Szakképző Iskola, 12 nurses (OKJ 54 723 01 1000 00 00) and 6 social worker and nurses (OKJ 33 762 01 0010 33 02). Due to the feminisation of the profession, previous projects failed to include any male participants; this year, the project aims to include two male students. Ten of the students are disadvantaged persons; however, as there is no need for special financial investment due to their disadvantages, they are not represented as such in the project budget. The aim of the project is to provide future nurses and social worker and nurses an opportunity to complement their professional knowledge gained during vocational training with experience gained in a modern, well-equipped, high-quality environment in an Italian facility. In addition to improving their competences, students also gain an insider’s view on the complex internal structure and operation of a nursing facility, together with immersion in a foreign language environment and have opportunity to observe the synergistic cooperation of public and private sectors. Students gain autonomy, and increase sense of empathy and tolerance through interaction with the patients. The participants develop ability to address complex professional issues and to constantly renew and improve themselves; this might radically improve their chances of employment. Previous projects have shown that Mobility projects not only facilitate improving professional competences but are tools to promote social mobility as well. Most of the participants experience a radical cultural, environmental and psychological change. Due to the previous factors, the preparatory programme focuses both on professional and personal preparation, as shown in the attached curriculum. The project is realized in multiple stages: Selection and preparatory trainigs for participants; Preparatory training; Organising travel details, checking travel documents of participants; Reservation of accommodation, arranging administrational details – workplace insurance, consultation with instructors; Health&Safety training, cultural and team-building, psychological supervision, 5-week internship in groups of 6 in 3 turns, 2-week visit of accompanying persons, continuous monitoring and evaluation; Final evaluation; dissemination; Europass, statement and project closing.
