To highlight the industrial heritage of the French-Belgian mining area, the partners set up an industrial culture itinerary (ICI). They dispose of a wide range of tools to capture the interest of a broad public and encouragetourism and cultural activities in the mining area.In a broader context, the project highlights the richness of the heritage and its specific features. Both the local population and the broader public are encouraged to discover it. The itinerary addresses every aspectof the common identity of the cross-border area: landscape, urban planning, folklore, social history, technical history, immigration, arts, leisure, challenges, ordeals, etc.
