Date du début: 1 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 31 août 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Context:In regard to the prerequisites of our students, considering their social status and therefore their declining possibilities to compete atthe world of employment as well as their special needs, it is highly needed to open new possibilities for those students. This project is going to help our students and their teachers to take the given skills and work on the individual development of the different talents, raise the students' learning motivation and thus reduce the early drop-out rate.Considering the teachers, the project aims to enable the school staff to raise their professional qualifications, to improve theeducational process, integrating the skills acquired through mobility, and to expand the opportunities for European cooperation inorder to modernize, individualize and internationalize the curriculum. The main activities:The teachers will take part in four courses throughout the school year:- Course 1: Identify the hidden talent in the classroom (focus on individualization in the classroom)- Course 2: Inclusive Teaching - special needs and behavioral difficulties- Course 3: Seminar on Outdoor Education, Landscape qualities and Outdoor venues- Course 4: Multiculturalism – teacher's role in the integration process of immigrant childrenProject methodology responds to institution strategic and European development plan - in all phases of the project participants willfocus on raised objectives and apply their knowledge in their work, enabling positive changes in the school organisation: innovationof curriculum, methodology and ICT. At preparation stage, the participants emphasize the cooperation with other colleagues abroadand develop their ICT skills.During the courses participants will focus on the target competencies, knowledge and skills, while the follow up will uptakereflection, improvement and dissemination of good practices.Project management is oriented to quality - with clear procedures: engaging eTwinning programme tools for the smooth executionof the project, providing participants with monitoring techniques and principles, setting clear terms. This will help to ensure thequality of the project in order to achieve envisaged project goals.Expected results of the project:All participants will adapt the project in terms of their preknowledge and their expertise, so that the real outcome will begreater than the “plain” results of the project. That is also the way they will disseminate the outcomes – the entire staff willrepeatedly have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge from all participants in workshops and regualarly scheduled open classrooms. This way the chances are higher that the results will be adopted eagerly and will be implemented sustainably into the school curriculum. The participants will acquire and improve not only general educational competences, but also will absorb the various inclusive approaches involving children from different cultural backgrounds in the educational process, develop their computer literacy, will gain a broader and inclusive understanding of education programs in the European context, acquire knowledge in the fields of special needs, outdoor education, multicultural classrooms and individual talent search, they will improve communication and collaboration skills working with international partners, and improve their foreign language skills. The long-term effects and benefits:It is expected that the teachers have a significant impact on the experience of all the employees - using new methods, changing the learning environment, developing an international and individualized curriculum - significantly will improve the quality of education in our school. We hope that the participants will become more open to change, the modernization of the educational process andinternationalisation of school curriculum and will be willing to share their knowledge and disseminate best practices in the school, the city and in the country. We expect this big project also to be extensively shared with the local public and help to arise a positive reputation of our school and of the teachers and students who are attending it in order to secure a bright future for both the school and the students.
