INCLUSIVE LEARNING - Supporting Teacher Training for an Inclusive Vocational Education

The INCLUSIVE LEARNING project provided vocational education and training institutions with a solution for addressing inclusion problems (the Lifelong Learning Programme priorities 2011- 2013), considering two main aspects: 1) Guidelines for trainers in order to provide them with the necessary and applied knowledge to address diversity in their training process, through the use of information technologies and considering different kinds of populations (multilingual people, sufferers of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, low vision and blind people, and deaf people); and 2) the provision of a technological infrastructure in order to deliver an adequate and accessible learning process for the aforementioned populations, including authoring tools for developing accessible training content and courses.
