Date du début: 11 juil. 2016, Date de fin: 10 juil. 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Project summary:Ten beneficiaries, who are chosen by the Parents‘ Association at the Bilingual HAK and by the project leaders, will participate in this project together with their partners from Slovenia, Croatia and Germany. The beneficiaries are students whose improved technical and language skills in english, italian and slovene will qualify them for working in the so-called Alps-Adriatic region.Project goals:Internships in the respective partners‘ countries and improving technical/vocational, social and language skills. The labour situation in Europe shows that there is growing demand for people with international experience and excellent language skills. The project helps the beneficiaries to gain vocational experience abroad and to improve their foreign language proficiency. Another objective of the project is to foster open-mindedness in young people, to decrease xenophobic feelings and to increase the number of responsible EU citizens.International work experience should motivate beneficiaries to look for jobs abroad later in their life and to use their practical skills in international business as well as in jobs in their home countries. They may even benefit from this experience while they are still at school. In addition, having to communicate in a foreign language in everyday situations will reduce students‘ inhibitions in using this language actively in school and will certainly help them to successfully pass their final exams in this subject. Last but not least, working with international colleagues should also have a positive effect on the students‘ personality, should increase their awareness of a multi-cultural environment and foster their understanding of and respect for foreign cultures. As far as the participating institutions are concerned we would like to point out that they, too, will benefit as the students will become their prospective employees once they have graduated from school.Carrying out the project:The project management assists the beneficiaries before the start of the internship (application, insurance, planning of the journey, retrieving contracts and letters of intent, setting up Learning Agreement, etc.) during the internship (completing ECVET forms, support in the case of problems, etc) and afterwards (evaluation of ECVET forms, final reports, etc). In the final phase there will be a presentation of the project to business and media representatives.Description of activity:The beneficiaries do an internship in an international environment.Where will the project take place: in the EUTime frame: July 2016-July2018
