Date du début: 2 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 1 mars 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Project “Improving youth work across Europe: sharing detached youth work practices” was initiated after the training course TC "Youth researchers:upgraded" funded by the Youth in Action program. Together with partner organisations and Lithuanian State partners we have identified detached youth work (street youth work) as a missing piece of the puzzle in the education of youth workers and missing approach while group of young people not in education, employment or training (NEET) is growing. This international project will allow Baltic state youth workers benefit from experience of UK and Norway youth work experiences and enable to put this into practice. We aim to : (1) To develop detached youth work competence of youth workers from participating countries. (2) Develop a common understanding of detached youth work in the Baltic States. (3) Develop a manual on detached youth work for the Baltic States. (4) Improves Individual youth work competence of participants and develop their skills in mentoring; coaching, open youth work, consulting. (5) Share good practices from the Baltic States on youth work system developments and present best practices on different youth work methodologies. Serious partners and quality partnership will ensure long term impact of this training course and use of developed detached youth work manual for practitioners. The project will join 31 youth workers from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Norway and UK in Lithuania from the 2nd till 9th of November 2014.
