The project aims to contribute to the acceleration and increase of the mutual trade activities in the border region within the framework of the Cross Border Economic Cooperation. Project activities are: Establishment of project Team and project preliminary preparations,Project Team Meetings and Project Report,Meeting to inform the local government,Project team meeting,Press conference introduction of the project to the puplic,Preparation of the Presentation Documents of the Project Formation of SME Application Forms,Determination of the Subjects and Contents to be published on the web site,Website design,Supervision of the Seminar Places, Obtainment of the Equipments, and Establishment of Seminar Program,Preparation of SME Catalogue and Trade Guide,Press Conference,Preparation of Project Result Report. Achievements: The project contributed to acceleration and increase of the mutual trade activities in the border region. It was achieved by project team meetings; informative meetings with the local governments in Haskovo and Uzunkopru; preparation of presentation documents for joint seminar; preparation of SME catalogue and trade guide; market analysis, establishment of a database related to SME-s operating in Uzunkopru and Haskovo regions, classification of SME-s by the field of activities, preparation of company profiles; provision of Turkey-Bulgaria import and export guidelines, preparation of articles on customs transactions and tax laws, analyses of legal obligations; obtaining trade statistics from the relevant institutions & agencies; and dissemination activities (website preparation and press conference).The project has been successfully accomplished in March 2012.
