Improvement of the ecological situation in the transboundary basins of the rivers Prut and Dniester by the introduction of innovative approaches of wastewater treatment and upgrading of wastewater management in Chernivtsi and Drochia. Expected Results: Improvement of sanitary-epidemiological situation of water bodies; Implementation of innovative wastewater treatment technologies; 1 new sewage treatment plant constructed and implemented into the operation in Drochia. 1 reconstructed sewage treatment plant in Chernivtsi; Increasing access of population to the sewage treatment services; 64 000– Chernivtsi, 6130 - Drochia - Falesti will get an access to the services of wastewater treatment; Exchange of experience of sewage treatment and development of water supply and water sewage systems in cross-border region; 3 conferences with the participants from Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Work trip to the Austria to study the experience.
