Improving quality of staff and administration through the power of the question
Date du début: 1 déc. 2015, Date de fin: 30 nov. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Saplinq is a Slovak LGBTQ organisation. It focuses is on the development of communities of LGBTQ people trough providing training together with mentoring and coaching to people who want to become community activists. It also provides guidance to both young and adult LGBTQ people, struggling through difficult life periods, tackling problems such as coming out. Saplinq is also involved in various educational activities for adults on topics such as human rights, inclusion, norm sensitivity, diversity, sexual orientation, health, and much more. With this project, Saplinq aims to further develop its staff, so it can advance in delivering even better educational and guidance services. A small number of various staff members (not more than 10) will participate in a wide set of training courses, that all focus on learner centered and strength based approaches. These are, among other, narrative and appreciative approaches, question techniques to lead better, dialogue methods to address the power of social discourses and much, much more. As a result of this, the whole organisation will see the improvement in both internal operation and running their educational services, where the starting point will be the learner (as the learner is the expert on its own life) and learning will be better contextualised (in the context of the learners' life). This form of learning is in three words more respectful, empowering and sustainable.
