This project creates strong basis for infrastructure improvement in both regions.The main output for the Region of Central Macedonia is a Technical Study for the completion of the road from the city of Edessa to the borders of the Regional Unit of Florina, part of the Thessaloniki – Edessa road axis. This includes the Agras area where the road meets the waterfalls of river Agra. This technical study is crucial, since the economic development of the Region of Central Macedonia depends on commerce and tourism, i.e. movement of goods and people. Hence, it will bring the construction project to a mature stage.The Centre for development of the South-East planning region (CDSEPR) will implement an Opportunity Study and Technical Documentation for the local road Gjavato – Grchiste. Municipalities of Bogdanci and Valandovo will be able to use this technical documentation for the road construction.AGRAS also envisages seminars for the transfer of know-how regarding public procurement, tenders, supervision and construction, as well as study visits to successful public works of the Region of Central Macedonia.Publicity actions include a website, promotional material, a conference, advertisements in newspapers and TV interviews.
