For these reasons, we consider it our priority to continuously improve the training of our students, bringing new modern trends, draw inspiration for the improvement of vocational education providing students with work placement abroad to gain knowledge and skills which will be further implemented in their work experience thesis. Our aim is to provide students with the education that will integrate specialized theoretical knowledge and participation in work placement abroad to create a compact set of knowledge, skills and competencies that a graduate needs to enter the labour market in Slovakia and in other countries of the European Union and beyond. By modernization and internationalisation of vocational education at our school, the ability to respond flexibly to the demands of the labour market that are affected by regional conditions and preparing high-quality professionals we aim at attracting more students to study at our school and gradually we want to offer courses that will better respond to regional, European and global labour market. Currently, our school is not involved in any international project that meet these requirements. For this reason, we consider it important to establish close partnerships with institutions abroad that can provide our students knowledge and useful information essential for labour market needs and develop their skills and abilities. Participating in work placements abroad, which will be the first in school history, we want to modernize our school, open it up to new forms of cooperation not only with educational institutions but also enterprises, so we will be able to prepare our students for the requirements and needs of European and world labour market. Such cooperation will also form the basis for further international projects not only within Erasmus + programs. The aim of the accompanying teachers participating in the project will be to gain valuable experience and knowledge, establish contacts and partnerships in order to build up a team after their return to school, whose task will be to develop and implement partnerships and collaboration on various platforms. Professional development of teachers is part of European Development Plan of our school. One of its long-term strategy of improvement of their professional competencies and skills is also their involvement in international projects, creating long-term partnerships and integration into the international network of institutions providing teacher development courses and training programs.
