Imbunatatirea competentelor profesionale din invatamantul special si special integrat

The project came to life after a Preparing Visit in the Comenius Program, made by deputy head master in 2009. As a consequence, our school established some contacts with different schools in Helsinki and Oulu. To this date we weren?t able to determine which school will be the host school, because they all have various formation possibilities to offer.
Though this mobility project ?Improving the professional competences in special education and integrated special education?, 12 teachers from Inclusive Education School from Turnu Rosu wish to improve their skills in special education learning in Finland. The Finish Special Educational System is renowned world-wide as being the best in Europe. Our teachers have more and more to deal with a new disability typologies (physical, mental, combined), so the old methods and techniques need improving. For this purpose our teachers will come to Finland, to a school which integrates Children with SEN, with different types of disabilities and will observe the way the school is organized and the way it functions and will take part in the stages and activities which take place in that institution. Each participant will be involved in the activities specific to their specialty. This activity enables teacher to exchange options and to test teaching methods used in special classes. As a result a real exchange will be realized in professional work formation. The curriculum will comprise techniques, methods, teaching and testing ways used in the host school in school counseling, speech therapy, psychology, complex educational therapy, kinesthetic therapy, social assistance, educational role models. During this visit we will intend to exchange work- related experiences in Romania in Finland, to find together efficient answers for our problems encountered in the educational process. Though effective participation in special therapies applied to Special Educational Needs (SEN) children in the host school, we wish to improve our methods, procedures, means, techniques and new practices, to experience and develop common educational contents, to share our knowledge with finish teachers working with SEN children. Through this project our teacher will have access to an efficient stage of professional formation which will help improving their professional competences, the educational act and diversification of the educational offer in our school. Our pupils and future pupils will take advantage of the finish educational system. We believe that the project will have long terms effect, that the special and integrated special educational system will suffer real and permanent changes and our teachers will spread these knowledge through workshops, demonstrations, open classes in our area. So, the teacher attending this program will become essential resources in the area, will offer consultancy and support to other teacher.
