Training for master craftsmen in a globalised economy : Globalisation raises new challenges not only for top management but also for middle and lower management of industrial companies. The IMA project for training master craftsmen, with partners from Austria, Germany, Portugal, the Slovak and Czech Republic – has developed a training course for master craftsmen, which covers both specialist training and management functions. It makes a contribution to an innovative, competitive European industry. This project started in 2000 and lasted 24 months.
