With our this KA1 project which took place in the province of Madrid, Spain between 27th June and 04 July 2015 as a school staff training mobility under the Erasmus+ KA1 , our school participants got the chance to use digital classroom,the development of tools used in schools, effective use of Information Communication Technology education,digital classroom environments.
In summary, the participating teachers and administrators have investigated and learnt how to use digital classroom and digital course materials more effectively and systematically both in classroom and school. Thus; using digital classroom has been achieving a systematic effects on students.
As everyone knows that our country cannot use digital world and modern technological developments in the classroom and in school efficiently. In this context, getting knowledge and experiences about digital classroom from Spain, are useful for our school management and staff.
Furthermore; within this projects' effects, impact, and benefits; especially taking into account the Europe 2020 objectives, we always aimed to reduceearly school leavers from 14% to 11%.Our teachers and the project team believe that the main reason for leaving-school has given education by ordinary methods. The students are sometimes getting bored with stereotypes activities, routine teaching methods. In this regard, new methods,new approaches, our communication channels with good examples in updating and strengthening the European dimension is important forever. Our project also serves directly to schools, students, parents and educators to strengthen the international dimension of the European Strategy for Education and Training-Targets. Because of this teacher training and development on an international scale, particularly with the introduction of digital spaces in new ways our teachers grades are strengthened and this would positively affect students and parents.
In our project, the digital classroom environment,obtaining new methods and tools in the region of Madrid, for teachers to use in our school and the environment would also create a model.
The Fatih project, in our local region, in September-2014 onwards in our school has been also supporting our project.
This was the first EU project initiative for our school. We completed and trained ,as already planned, 1 principal, 1 school assistant principal and 4 teachers have participated in the international mobility of learning activities. And then seminars, informational meetings were held in our conference-halls.
Our project was a very important example in our area. With this project we have transferred the EU themes, the EU-projects, the Lifelong Learning elements to parents, students, teachers, administrators and other schools around us.
