The Istituto comprensivo of Mori is a primary and first secondary school catering for 800 students. It has being implementing CLIL lessons in English for some time now. The project, which involves the School Headteacher and eight teachers, one of them being a teacher of English and the others teachers of both technical-scientific and linguistic-artistic subjects, aims at creating a team of teachers capable of planning and carrying out lessons in English, according to an inclusive, competence-centred teaching methodology. In order to fulfil the project, the school intends to organize a course of English for the B2/C1 certification of language competence and to take part to a specific experiential course on CLIL methodology abroad. Among the expected results there is an enrichment of the teachers' professional competences, an improvement of the linguistic skill, the creation of new professional challenges, the enhancement of the school educational and didactic offer, a increased attention to an inclusive, competence-centred educative methods.
