English-Hungarian bilingual education has been introduced in our school for more than ten years. Besides learning and acquiring the target language intensively (in high number of lessons), students study more school subjects in English via CLIL. It needs serious plans in both strategy and human- resource. Consequently, the teaching community is based on fulfilling the requirements. Without knowing a living language the notion of ’Europianism’ cannot exist. Moreover, it is impossible to be integrated into the European educational systems. ICT, media and the knowledge of their tools and effects have primary importance. The knowledge of creating digital and interactive contents and the ability of using them with accurate methodological safety must be one of the primary competences of a teacher. We chose teacher training institutions where we can get a newer input to improve the teachers’ target language and ICT skills. One of the most important effects on our institution was the following: besides the theoretical basis, our students will get useful, easily-acquired and practical knowledge by using Information Technology as a tool. We have been able to understand and find the answer how to integrate the wide variety of ICT tools, different communication channels and media into the teaching process. We intend to lead the education of the target language, IT and Science to a direction which provides the acquisition of useful and user-friendly knowledge, creativity and effective problem-solving. By reaching and interpreting the sources in English our colleagues have been able to gain higher level of their language competence. Consequently, their self-education have reached a higher level, and they are able to receive and classify the information more effectively. During the current application we fulfilled 12 teacher mobilities within 2 years. The colleagues implemented have a college/university degree in English and outstanding ICT skills. We planned the mobilities in two rounds, four times within two years which was always followed by serious, local dissemination.
