During this six-month project, the two clubs jointly participated in the 2011/2012 championship and their members held joint preparations for the matches. In addition to having regular training sessions together, the team members and coaches also attended three joint summer training camps. Furthermore, the clubs procured the necessary equipment, such as hockey sticks and pucks. They travelled together to championship matches, and together provided referees and a sports doctor. This project had great significance because it brought together young talented sports players into one cross-border team. During the regular and intense training activities, matches and preparations for the championship, they not only improved their sports skills but they also forged new friendships and learnt about the importance of team spirit.
