Date du début: 1 mai 2016, Date de fin: 31 mars 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

context/backgroundThe project "I Care - Reinforce the network and look to the future" is one of the results of the Training Course "CARE - Creativity and Reuse for Empowerment" - financed by the Erasmus + programme - KA1: Mobility of youth workers - organised in Palermo in May 2015 by the CSC Danilo Dolci and involving 16 youth organizations from 14 European countries. The total duration of our project is 11 months: from 1/05/2016 to 31/03/2017. The core of the project is a seven days "seminar" to be held in Brussels, Belgium, while the "preparation phase" and "final phase" will be carried out on the "Care group" on the capacity4dev.eu platform. (http://capacity4dev.ec.europa.eu/care/)The project is aimed at fostering the networking of youth workers and organisations from different countries with particular focus on the actual and future members of the "Care" group and also to enhance the cooperation between organisations in the youth field and other stakeholders at EU/International level. Promote awareness of the main grant opportunities in youth policies field with particular focus on the EU programmes and improve the participants' key competences and skills in the European project management. Reinforce the capacities and international scope of the participating organisations (by establishing new partnerships and collaborations). The project "I Care - Reinforce the network and look to the future" involves nine non profit organisations, from eight EU countries, operating in the youth policies field at European level. Each organisation is represented by trainers, project developers or youth policies experts who aim to improve the working methodologies and approaches of their organisations through the acquirement of new skills and knowledges. In addition, the youth workers are interested in sharing information and ideas in order to identify opportunities to collaborate and present projects in response to specific calls within the framework of the EU Programmes. During the "preparation phase", members will collaborate through the "Care "group on the capacity4dev.eu platform which is an online space for networking/co-working and information exchange. In this phase, one of the main activities will be the improvement and enrichment of the section related to the EU programmes in the youth policies field through the contribution of all partners. Moreover, during this preparation phase the project aims, ideas, suggestions, activities, tasks and roles, budget and timetable will be shared and agreed between the youth workers. During the "seminar", a sort of international conference and contact-making event, youth workers will participate to interactive sessions on EU Progammes and Fundings, Project Cycle Management, Networking and Communication by contributing with their own specific skills and experiences. In particular, each participant will present at least one project idea that will be discussed and considered as a potential project to be jointly developed. The "final phase" concerns the development of project ideas and the establishment of new partnerships and collaborations between organisations from different EU countries as well as the submission of projects to the National Agencies. We will apply the non-formal education methodologies based on a participative and learner-centred approach in order to facilitate the collaboration and exchange of good practices between all the participant organisations. Interaction will characterized all the phases of the project allowing participants to discuss their needs, proposals, methodologies and personal views related to EU Programmes and opportunities to be develop in the future. The envisaged results and impact of the project concern the improvement of participants' working experience in international contexts, knowledge about the main European programmes and funding opportunities, capacity to prepare, implement, monitor and follow up EU projects, skills in ideating and coordinating communication activities, attitude to build partnerships and collaborations in order to submit projects. The "Care" group will continue to create great opportunities to promote exchange of good practices, establishment of partnerships and project presentation. It will contain all relevant. In addition, the participanting organisations will provide a guidance related to EU programmes to further organisations/institutions/ municipalities (beyond project members) working in the youth policies sector. In this way, the acquired knowledge will be shared and the number of the organisations taking advantage from "I Care - Reinforce the network and look to the future" project will raise (the multiplier effect).
