The project "I can, You can, let's do more Together" aims at fighting discrimination and promoting a positive change in the life of institutionalised children and youngsters. Within the project, throughout one year, 7 young volunteers from Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Turkey, France, Germany and Spain will live and work with children that benefot from the services of Foundation Filantropica Metropolis, in Bucharest, will build their capacity to use methods and instruments characteristic for participative art in order to organize community events aimed at raising awareness about the issue of discrimination against institutionalised children and fight against it, promoting participative art as an instrument to get involved in dealing with social issues, promoting EVS as a form of active citizenship and participation in community life and raising funds.The volunteers will also get involved in the children's everyday life by participating in the administrative and reacreational activities of the foundation. Thus, the volunteers will assume and exercise European values, such as tolerance, respect, cooperation, learn to work together to fight against discrimination, all in accordance with the main themes of the project activities, European awareness and antidiscrimination.
