The project "I can vote" reflects KA3 – Support for Policy Reform objectives of the Erasmus + programm. Main focus of the project is to enhance young people's knowledge, practise and values about policy and dialogue between young citizens and policy makers, starting from their well known world of the University. StartIta, the organization who is promoting the "I can vote" project and runned by 3 italian young people, will choose in La Sapienza University of Rome 60 young students (age 20-26, both male and female - both italian and foreign origin) that will discuss the concept of active participation in University starting from the moment of the election of students' politics representatives. The students will discuss not only with other more active students in university but also with young local and national italian political representatives. Discussion will happen online: the project, in fact, will provide a website, a discussion forum and a smartphone app (multilanguage), very important tools close to young people's skills and daily routine and easy to use and send fast message. After collecting materials, main ideas of discussions and proposals to better live univerity political life, the project will run a National Meeting, 4 days in the city of Rome, when there wil be a simulation of University representatives' election. At the end of the activities young people, helped by political decision makers, will provide a proposal about their active participation in the politics in University and also in democratic life in general. "I can vote" project is a forward-looking project: it will be replicated in other universities and it will be sponsored by students towards other students in order to develope Erasmus + possibilities about young people, the dialogue between young people and policy makers, and the young people growth as persons and citizens. The development of the website and the smartphone app will help the project to carry on its own purposes even after the end of the project itself.
