Technological developments have brought about huge changes in the ways in which learning is achieved. In the following years the teachers will face the entry of new challenges in education for this reason should be flexible and adaptable to a world that is changing rapidly.Based on this reality, activities that we have chosen expect to have a significant impact on participants, learners and the organization.The participants will increase their personal performance and improve the quality of their teaching.The proposed project will involve teachers of the 1st EPAL Kalambaka. Teachers come fromdifferent fields (economists, language teachers, computer science teachers, etc.) in order to strengthen as much as possible of our school educational fields.Activities and methodology used for the project, mainly in monitoring with two specialized and structured training courses (5 and 6 working days) on flipped classroom and social media in education. The seminars will consist of both theoretical and practical training.The objectives of the training activity "Flipped classromm in Vocational Education" are the participants to acquire skills:• to integrate technology into existing curricula• to implement innovative methods of digital learning in their organization in the curriculum.• to adopt collaborative learning practices• to use tools that encourage creativity and innovation• to create lectures with movie making programs or to choose lectures and videosrepositories of educational material and send them to students• to promote critical thinking through cooperation and social interaction (blended learning)The specific objectives regarding the activity "Social media in the Classroom" are:• to learn current trends in education using ICT• to acquire skills and knowledge and to get introduced to new technologies• to familiarize with social networking tools such as Twitter, Prezi, youtube, Facebook, Google apps, etc.• to use social media platforms to share teaching materials and to promote cooperation between students and teacher - student The expected results of the project are:• Improvement of professional and scientific level of the participants• Improvement of social skills, through the living and interaction in foreign, multicultural environment.• awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning.• acquisition of knowledge and skills leading to improved behavior in the pedagogical process.• Improvement of language skills of participants• exchange of methodologies and tools in order to broaden their cognitive object. Finally, teachers can be multipliers of the idea and knowledge, both in the remaining colleagues and teachers from other schools. Our organization will have a European dimension and our school students will get introduced more technology and will reap significant benefits through new and innovative forms of teaching. The acquired knowledge will be equipped to optimize the level of education offered. You will also gain a strategic plan that will help us plan and organize quality European programs.
