The job shadowing project between Loesje Palestine and Loesje Berline combines the cooperation of the both organisation with the aim of learning and development in both organisations. This program is designed to explore the new possibilities in the youth work, exchange of knowledge and experiences, finding solutions and learning opportunities in the youth work in a multi-cultural, ethnic, religious, economic situation. This program has one of the greatest opportunities in getting to know and get trained in working with youngsters with different background, non-motivated youngsters and technical practicalities in running a youth organization. Thus, the youth workers who go back to the local organization can be a very important resource for initiating and promoting the possibilities of organizing new youth inclusion programmes and initiatives and can be an instrument in setting up similar concrete work in the sending organization. An important part of this project is coming in direct cntact with the local comunity and understanding about the other culture. Loesje e.V has experience with Job Shadowing (sending and hosting) as well as other international activities (such as sending and hosting EVS volunteers, international seminars as well as trainings - both participating and organising). Loesje values learning through practice and initiative and is always open for new ideas and learning outcomes. From our own experience such partnerships help in spreading the Loesje creative writing method in new areas but also help in shaping it, by incorporating new ideas through inter-cultural dialogue. This process enables the organizations knowledge and methods how to work with the target youth groups. Loesje Palestine has experience in facilitating, organising formal and informal debates, workshops and lectures among youngsters in high schools and universities on different topics. It has sent participants to several trainings and EVS projects, and organized local Loesje creative text writing workshops, exhibitions and other youth activities. Loesje Palestine works with a wide range of target groups, like refugees in the refugee camps in and outside of Palestine, orphan children, displaced people, students, and much more. The participants are both activists in Loesje Palestine, although one of them is a Palestinian living in Jordan. They are involved in the work of the organization and its aim. They are working actively with young people and want to respond to the needs and issues of the community. The job shadowing will fill in this need by observing the working methods and creating new ideas and understanding which the participants can use in their future activities back in Palestina and Jordan. The participants used: study visits to different cooperation partners and venues where Loesje e.V. is active, workshops with the local community (students, youth, children, refugees). They transferred their experience first internal in the organization and now they are sharing the experience in each activitiy of Loesje Palestina in order to spread the results of the gained knowledge but also to motivate the others to take part in such projects.
