Date du début: 31 janv. 2011,
Date de fin: 28 févr. 2012
Within the project, the partners prepare and maintain an on-line bilingual legal database covering Hungarian and Romanian commercial and consumer law. The database provides access to essential legal information that can be used in informed business and consumer decision-making. The database compiles the relevant legal material into functional categories enabling guided access to the legal background of problems faced in cross-border cooperation and transactions. Thus, the activity of businesses and consumers will be based on informed decision-making having assessed the legal risks and implications of their actions. Businesses and consumers will have a greater understanding of laws relating to commercial activity in the other State. They will realize the benefits of cross-border commercial transactions and cross-border business cooperation. The direct beneficiaries of the database are businesses, especially small and medium sized enterprises, entrepreneurs and consumers wishing to establish cross-border cooperation and to benefit from cross-border commerce in the Hungarian-Romanian border region. Operators in the field of legal services are likely to benefit directly from the database in supporting businesses and consumers in cross-border activities. Indirect beneficiaries include students of law, commerce and economics, legislators, policy makers, interest groups, journalists, researchers. As an effect of the project the amplitude, quality and duration of cross-border business cooperation increases.
