The HSA project will introduce an instrument for the qualitative analysis of human resources in the health sector, namely a Human System Audit (HSA). The primary target group of the project are professionals in the health sector with responsibility for the management of personnel within a hospital environment. Project partners will initially adapt the HSA to the characteristics of the hospital sector, transforming this into an online, self-analysis and self-training tool. Further activities will include the development of multimedia training materials for the sector (focusing upon the implementation of the HSA and the development of people management skills), pilot training within the target sector in each of the participating partner countries (supported by online and face-to-face coaching) and an evaluation of the pilot phase and of the impact of learning upon the day to day work of those involved in the pilot phase. Outputs will include a self-assessment tool adapted to the needs of the hospital sector, an online self-learning tool linked to a community of experts able to provide learning support, a series of indicators reflecting upon the pilot phase and commenting upon any qualitative improvements in the work of the pilot group and a comparative European database reflecting the quality of personnel management in the target sector within the participating countries. Products will be primarily produced in EN, ES & PL. Dissemination will comprise a series of national and international workshops involving employers and experts from the target sector, articles circulated to press/journals and via fairs/congresses and the hosting of the end products on a dedicated project website.
