How to Grill? TSS! Training of Social Skills!
Date du début: 1 janv. 2016, Date de fin: 31 déc. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Project "How to Grill? TSS!" is a project that we planned for a long time at YACA. We were participating in many Training Courses abroad and whenever we presented our main program - Training of Social Skills (TSS), we got encouraged in applying a TC about TSS. There was a lot of interest shown from youthworkers and volunteers at youth organizations, so we decided to apply for this project. This project is an answer to many questions, a "how-to" a manual with theoretical background and yet experiential, practical, full of hints, “do's and don'ts” etc. Training Course! The participants will get a practical, experiential, first-hand information about TSS. Our aim is to offer understanding, “know-how”, just the right equipment to the youthworkers and volunteers so they will be able to guide TSS philosophy-based activities within their own organizations. The "How to Grill? TSS!" is a TC with these objectives:- to gain specific "know-how" on guiding TSS in order to be able to guide its contents in their own organizations;- to develop, upgrade the method with the help of experienced youthworkers and volunteers from youth organizations;- to elaborate possibilities on inclusion of youth with less opportunities;- to encourage social inclusion;- to empower individuals using key competences and to enable their validation;- to practice reflection as a tool for recognition of non-formal and informal learning;- to contribute to quality of the programs that youth organizations already practice; - to use recognition tools (Youthpass, Unique Learning Badges etc.) in practice and by doing so, help the participants to recognize skills, behaviours and knowledge gained during the activities as well as promote recognition of non-formal and informal learning;- to encourage (practical and theoretical) use of the project results;- to teach the participants how to proper plan, practice and evaluate a quality TSS process and how to recognize learning aspects of the program. The project is planned mostly practical, active and experiential as well as theoretical, to be able to see the hidden curiculum. The aim is to equipe each partner with necessary tools and knowledge, needed to guide TSS in their organizations. By doing so, each parner will contribute to inclusion of the depriviliged youth in their country. Our wish is to enable youth organizations to be able to offer each youngster, in the period of secondary adolescence, to be able to attend TSS. By doing so, we believe the communities would gain more responsible, open, understanding, assertive, active and included youth.
