Date du début: 1 nov. 2016, Date de fin: 31 mars 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

"How to Become an Entrepreneur" is a youth exchange project designed to assist young people willing to start their own businesses or social enterprises. Targeted at ages 20-30, this initiative responds to challenges identified by young people who are unemployed or underemployed and are interested in becoming their own boss. This program will provide informative resources for youth - the result of new business knowledge, entrepreneurial skills and social competences that will be developed by our participants during the project. Entrepreneurial education is crucial in reaching the main goal of this project: decrease of youth unemployment by energizing self-employability. Participants, equipped with the new knowledge and skills, will jointly develop an e-book „How to become an entrepreneur”. After the mobility, they will share it with our target group - other young people in Europe. This shall contribute to achieving objectives of this project by improving career prospects of young people at whom we are targeting, as well as increasing their sense of initiative and entrepreneurship. Youth unemployment has been and remains a major and well-reported economic and social issue for Europe, with policy-makers concerned about both the numbers of young people who are unemployed and the proportion of such young people who are neither in education nor training. It is our responsibility as a society to provide youth with the guidance they need to take charge of their futures and have a beneficial impact on their communities. Youth entrepreneurship is a proven strategy with the positive impact worldwide. The mobility will take place in Białystok, Poland between 11-18 of January 2017. The project is organized by 32 young people from Poland, Latvia, Croatia, Serbia and Jordan, who are highly interested in entrepreneurship, motivated to gain more specific knowledge and exchange their experiences on this topic, and in the end, using their new skills, share this essential knowledge with other young people by distributing their e-book and organizing more educational youth exchanges in the future. The project is based on participatory methods and non-formal education.
