WODZICZKO” HOTELIERS!EUROPEAN LABOUR MARKET IS WAITING FOR YOUThe project will be done at Adam Wodziczko School Complex in Mosina between 1st September 2016 and 31st August 2018. The idea is a response to students’ needs concerning better vocational and language training for hoteliers. The participating group will consist of 20 students of the technical school of hoteling in the second and third year and two teachers- assistants. The main goal to achieve are: the improvement of vocational competence of students at technical school of hoteling and mastering language skills for the profession. Both goals will be achieved within the 4 weeks’ training in European hotels. In the first year, the trainees will improve their vocational skills in the sunny city of Malaga in Spain, while in the second year they will be taken to our western neighbours, to Berlin. As a result, they will learn more English and German but also some Spanish.The vocational training, organised in this way, not only will prepare the students better for their future work but will make them open their minds to new cultures, enabling them to develop the feeling of European citizenship and identity.The further effect of such training will be receiving two EUROPASS certificates: MOBI- LITY and ECVET, that will increase the trainees’ competitiveness on the European labour market. Apart from that, the students will gain new social skills that are crucial in their professional and personal lives. The project will also have positive impact on the school’s community, increase attractiveness of vocational training, resulting finally in better quality of education. Eventually, the community of Mosina will welcome well trained hotel staff, familiar with European standards.
