Hotelarstwo i kuchnia francuska inwestycją w przyszłość
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project titled “Hotel industry and French cuisine as an investment for the future” realized by the Complex of Secondary Schools in Gubin, in partnership with the Association France-Pologne Lot Lubuskie, was the continuation of a long-term cooperation, lasting for 25 years, between partners in the field of vocational education of young people. The project was mainly aimed at improving the quality of vocational education by creating the best conditions for participants to acquire applied knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications. The achievement of the mentioned goals increased chances of employment and improved competitiveness of participants on the European labor market. Activities connected with project implementation led to the improvement in quality and introduction of innovative methods of vocational education in our educational institution. Partners invited students from both the secondary hotel training schools and the secondary gastronomic schools in the Lubuskie Voivodeship to participate in the project. The vast majority of students attending these schools came from rural areas with high unemployment rate. They definitely had less access to the advanced technology development centers where modern management systems and advanced industrial and economic technologies are applied. The key activities of the project were apprenticeships organized for young people in French enterprises in the hotel trade industry in the Le Lot Department, where they had a chance to use their knowledge in practice and get acquainted with the French model and standards of providing such services. The added value of the project for the participants was the possibility of improving their language skills and getting acquainted with French culture and traditions. We would like our students to transfer their acquired knowledge and experience to our region by developing tourist facilities and hotels during the next stage of the project. After the apprenticeships were over, the participants transferred information concerning acquired professional competencies and experiences to local employers who took part in the creation of the training program. The project content referred to the Development Strategy for the Krosno community and the Lubuskie Voivodeship. 15 participants, divided into two groups, took part in our project. Training duration for every participant was the same and lasted 2 months. The project was supported by the Lubuska Land Employers Organization as well as local authorities of the Lubuskie Viovodeship and the Le Lot Department in France.
