Hospitationspraktikum
Date du début: 1 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 31 août 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

This project is on one hand and advanced training for the participant and on the other hand an intensive cultural and linguistic exchange between Spain and Austria. Our school is endeavoured to give its pupils an insight in Europe’s diverse cultural landscape, its international networking as well as its democratic values. Therefore it is necessary to gather personal experience in different cultural surroundings. A further aim is to find a partner school through personal contact. Our school can cooperate with this Spanish partner school in future. Examples therefore are exchange programmes, visiting teachers or pupils or correspondence in various forms. At the same time I can present different cultural and linguistic aspects of Austrian and its school system in my Spanish host school. The participant, Mrs Karin Lamprecht, teaches Spanish and Italian. She works with her students in a very passionate way. The importance of learning different languages for the personal future is highlighted throughout her lessons. Furthermore, Mrs Lamprecht constantly aims for further education in her field and foreign experience to pass this knowledge on to her students. Tasks during this internship are to sit in, give support for lesson preparation, organisation of German lessons for interested pupils at the host school, experience exchange on diverse school systems, presentations about Austria’s culture and language as well as the planning of future projects between these two institutions. Mrs Lamprecht is already in contact with her partner school. Ms. Rufian would welcome German lessons during this visit because some students will complete an internship in different European centres. The aim of this exchange programme affects different short and long term levels. Primarily one should gather cultural competences, which support the teacher to satisfy the natural curiosity of students concerning foreign cultures and countries with regard to tolerance and diversity. Moreover, pupils should discover a new learning environment through this project between these two schools. The knowledge and the contact that emerges with the new partner school can be passed on to colleagues in our school.
