The internship in Spain is a project that emerges from the cooperation of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture and the Spanish Ministry of Education. The project addresses teachers in classes who are teaching Spanish as well as German. At the Spanish school, a supervising teacher will be present for assisting the Austrian teacher. The project extends over 2 weeks. In this period of time visits at several educational institutions are made and classes are participated. This way the exchange of new ideas in the area of education should be generated transnational. The aim of this project is to support the contact and exchange of experiences between European cultures, in order to intensify not only the professional and vocational competence but also the idea of getting to know the variety of cultures in Europe. Moreover, not only the teachers benefit from the exchange but also the pupils who now have the possibility to get in touch with other pupils in Europe (Spain and Austria).
