Date de fin: 30 août 2014
The vision of this project: The horse culture as our very valuable cultural heritage become driving force of the tourism in the Hungarian-Serbian borderline. The several thousand years old equestrian culture is integral part of our national heritage. Deeply involved in our culture, equestrian figures appear in our tales, traditions, as well as in our history and arts. The never ending plain is an ideal area for horse riding, in addition to seeing the ancient traditions of the region. A great variety of horse farms, many of them possessing the horseshoe quality classification of the Hungarian Equestrian Association, offer different riding facilities and services for the guests. Our region is also a traditional venue for numerous national and international horse riding events. The core activity of our project is to collect information about our horse connected cultural heritage and create a virtual horse culture museum on the WEB and DVD format also. Each museums, showrooms in Bács-Kiskun County and Vojvoduna will get copies of this DVD. We organize 6 thematic routes (horse-riding trails) with special names: eg. trail of outlaws, trail of defenders of freedom, places of battle of Zenta, etc. Which involves 12 different settlements (Lajosmizse, Kerekegyháza, Fülöpszállás, Izsák, Bakodpuszta, Bugac, Kelebija, Novi Sad, Temerin, Zrenjanin, Crepaja, Kovin). On the horse-trail map there will be other touristic attractions and service providers also. We participate on 4 local events, where our horse tradition will be presented. The horse riding trails and the basics of our horse culture heritage will be presented by a brochure with a map annex. This brochure will be available in four languages (Hungarian, Serbian, German and English).
