"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime"In our hyper-consumerist society, many young people want to take another path. We constantly see that movements and actions that wish to take a different path than this trend for consumption. That's why the concept of DIY (Do it yourself) or "homemade" was born recently to fight against the obsolescence of objects but also to create, give a second life to objects, to be actor its environment, …There are many reasons besides the economic aspect that makes this concept useful, for example environmental and health issues, it's also a concept that's based on exchange, sharing and creativity. What a great theme for a Youth Exchange. We hope through this project allow young people from 18 to 25 years to think out of the box, explore, try, create together, exchange to realize that we can change a lot of things in our everyday lives and thus help young people gain confidence and become active citizens in our society. With the involvement of each participant / partner and every resource we wish to learning to learn, create interest, and all this in a positive mood for each participant. The objective of our exchange are multiple:- Interculturalism: the discovery of other cultures (an international event, the presentation of all countries, through debates and games but also through informal time or during the workshops), through the ideas (called stereotypes) and help each participant create his / her own opinion with what he has done and lived before, during and after the exchange.- Each country participating in the project has its own vis-à-vis ideas of "Homemade". We intend to compare our different ideas, techniques and see what we can create together.- Have fun, to create durable links (friendship) between people from different countries, cultures, background, religion, etc., as well as learning through non-formal education.- Development / learning new skills (key) competencies acquired during the project.- Develop local business in the long term, especially through the actions of the Erasmus + program.- We hope that through this project, young participants will become active citizens, will develop new activities and projects and become active citizen accross european societies. It is through various workshops, in particular through the game but also the debate, as well as several non-formal activities, that all participants are going to find their place inside our project. the goal is to imagine and create all the actions and possible teaching tools for challenging the local population on the need for the Do It Yourself. Finally, we give great importance to the fact that all our activities will be non-formal and push to the active involvement of participants in each group.
