By December 2015, around 1 million of people was entering the EU and neighboring countries either escaping conflict or searching of safety and better life. As a reply to the situation, European Commission developed the European Agenda for Migration, drawing on the various tools and instruments available at the EU level and in the Member States. One of the tools for example is a direct humanitarian aid to the victims of conflicts, another tool to support to integrate different refugee groups to the hosting communities. Young people is one of the most vulnerable groups and youth NGOs have a great potential to support them, but it is much easier on words then on practice. Youth work is readily engaging with refugee related issues/conflict, whether because the participants are dealing with different kinds of related issues or because it takes place in conflict regions that was or is hosting refugees or people leave the country as refugees. There is an accumulated wealth of experience to be learned from. In comparison with traditional conflict prevention and resolution work, the experience of the refugee youth field might be considered as having certain unique features. Youth work may not be the place for high-level negotiations, ceasefires to be made or peace deals to be forged. Nevertheless, it does make a contribution to integration/inclusion more particularly through its educational effects.The issues that can be addressed by competences developed during the project are:• Decrease the level of aggression and intolerance through civil society organizations/youth workers.• Perception of phenomena of refugees and its influence on young people's lives.• Subjective opinion, memory and bias.• The challenges faced by young people in social, cultural, ethnic, religious minority groups.The project “Home" promotes and supports the role of young people in activities that contribute to living together in dignity and dialogue through a network of specifically trained young people from Hungary, France, Luxembourg, Italy, Armenia, Egypt, Jordan, Russia, Chech Republic, Ukraine and Georgia who strengthen the presence and promote the values of the European citizenship in communities facing refugee crises. The project has 2 activities: Training Course and Study Visit and has the following objectives:The first activity of the project - Study Visit “Home visit" :A.1 - To discover the youth work and youth NGOs’ reality in the country hosting refugees;A.2 - To get to know policy developed by the Government of Luxembourge related to refugees;A.3 - To understand the influence of armed conflict, closed borders and plus refugees crises on the daily life of young people and how that affects their behavior and mentality;A.4 - To create a space for dialogue among youth and youth workers from Europe and its neighbor countries for fostering transnational cooperation/trans-regional cooperation in refugees related issues;A.5 - To promote peace education and non-violent conflict resolution among youth in the country and in the region;A.6 - To highlight the role of new youth programme (Erasmus +) in the process of peace-building and intercultural learning. Participants: 35 participants from the mentioned project countries (decision-makers and project managers.For the second activity of the project - Training Course “Home":B.1 - To develop competences of participants in human rights promotion and protection, intercultural dialogue;B.2 - To promote the presence and the role of young people as positive actors of change in inclusion processes;B.3 - To strengthen the role of youth workers and youth NGOs in identifying and speaking up against human rights violations through the video tools created by participants;B.4 - To support the field presence of the European Commission in order to promote the values behind the institution;B.5 - To develop competences of 32 youth workers and youth leaders related to work with refugees.In general, the project intends that participants gain different perspectives/inspiration/knowledge in order to be able to involve their youngsters in projects about inclusion and intercultural learning. In order to improve the quality of those projects, the project intends to incapacitate the participants:- with knowledge about Inclusion/integration and citizenship/rule of law, in order that participants are able to lead sessions about the topics;- so they are able to understand and explain the concept and difference of integration and inclusion;- with competences of conflict management and conflict transformation;- with practical knowledge (activities, tools, methods) for developing projects about refugee related issues in their NGO's and communitieAs for the methods, all of them will be non-formal, no-frontal (presentations should be done in the most participative and interactive way) and highly participative fitting different learning styles and preferences
