For us it is very important that our teachers not only acquire intercultural competence, language and communication skills, an appropriate level of digital literacy and awareness of European citizenship, but also acquire the relevant knowledge and skills which will enable them to develop these competencies in students through learning. These skills can be most effectively gained through international education where our teachers can meet experts from different countries and acquire knowledge and skills in an intercultural educational environment during the educational process, as well as benefit from informal gathering with participants from other countries. This will allow us to gain potential partners for cross-cultural collaborative projects, exchanges and job shadowing. The project goals are: 1. to develop intercultural competence of our teachers and students 2. developing foreign language communication skills as well as methodology of teaching and learning strategies. 3. upgrading ICT competences in the classroom 4. developing social and civic competencies and methods and teaching approaches to foster students' holistic development, We plan to carry out 25 mobilities as follows: - Goal #1: job shadowing– 5 mobilities - Goal #2: LFEE Europe Language for Education - 2 mobilities - Goal #3: ICT – 4 mobilities - Goal #4: Mindfullness – 14 mobilities The project will be carried out through the following activities: • organising an Erasmus + school project team; • preparing for the trainings listed above by gathering and sending required information (obtaining information on the trainings and accommodation, notifying the project partners about the needs of our school); • participating in the trainings (the organisers will provide the teaching materials and literature); • sharing the acquired knowledge with the colleagues at school; • evaluating the trainings and sending the feedback to the project partners; • planning further trainings and participation in the K2 projects; • preparing the project report. The project-based method will be used for the implementation of the project, comprising the following phases: planning, preparation, implementation, evaluation and dissemination of the results. A project team will be formed to co-ordinate the activities. Expected results: The education of participants in an intercultural environment in other EU countries will increase participants' motivation for intercultural learning and international cooperation. They will acquire the capabilities that will allow the school to open further into the European area by participating in European projects and exchange of students and teachers, thereby opening up more opportunities for their personal and professional development. They will gain contacts with other teachers and schools across Europe, which will enable the implementation of collaborative projects to a greater extent than at present. The participants will also motivate their colleagues to engage in further education and European projects. By directing a large number of teachers towards participating in the European area, using modern teaching methodologies and using modern technology in learning and teaching, our students will be better prepared for the challenges of the future global and European labour market.
