The project with its context follows the objectives of the European School Development Plan and the strategy of its internationalisation. It includes mobilities of the school management and teachers searching for new experience, skills and competences to be used in school managing and also in teaching process. The school manager, her deputy and 2 teachers will do jobshadowing activities in the Agrupamento de Escolas de Mangualde (AEM) in Portugal. Trying to gather as much different experience as possible, the director and the deputy will also attend structured study visits to several selected schools in Iceland. These involve some workshops and training activities attended by participants from similar educational institutions all over Europe. 2 other teachers will attend structured courses in English speaking countries (English for Teachers with low level of English, Dublin, Írsko and CLIL for Teachers -An Inqiury- based Approach in Limerick, Ireland. The mobilites of school management are focused on gaining new competences in the field of school and employees management, integration of innovations into school environment, school authoevaluation, evaluation of employees as well as possibilities for international activities, teachers´ involment into them, implementation of social, language, economic and cultural differences into learning process. The teachers will develop their foreign language competences, search for innovative and effective teaching methods and approaches such as the CLIL methodology or using ICT in lessons. They will be also interested in teaching pupils with special needs. After transfer of new experience and competences into every-day life of our school, we expect its modification into a modern educational institution on the European portfolio, dynamic and multicultural work environment open to actual social needs, raising teachers´ motivation and interest in their profession, raising their professional awareness and self-confidence. Interesting teaching methods and approaches will have impact on pupils who will be more interested in learning and education. We believe that these impacts will lead to better quality of the school and they will bring a higher number of pupils in the future.
