TERMINÉ
The aim of the project was the exchange of students and university staff. We sent 46 students abroad in the academic year 2015/2016. There were students of the faculty of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, health sciences (physiotherapy, nursing, dietetics). Students of the faculty of medicine studied one academic year abroad. Students of other faculties studied one semester abroad. There were also placements implemented (2 months, 3 months, 5 months) which were attended by 106 people. They were students of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing and physiotherapy. Placements were implemented in the centers of academic partner institutions functioning in the framework of bilateral agreements and in hospitals, dental offices, pharmacies and laboratories (places found by the students themselves - based on letters of intent).
Our aim is to gain a balanced mobility. We are able to achieve this because we observe a systematic increase in the number of incoming students from partner universities. We accepted 104 students (studies: 83 people, placement: 21 people). Curriculum in terms of two courses (medicine, dentistry) is implemented entirely in English with strong support of our university. 7 teachers (teaching staff and researchers) benefited from the exchange in terms of teaching staff mobility conducting lectures for students of partner universities (the implementation of some of the lectures is firmly scheduled in the teaching process of partner university). Implementation of the lectures was associated with areas such as psychiatry, hematology, pharmacology, biology, history of medicine, physical chemistry. 24 employees of our university benefited from the exchange in terms of staff mobility. They were both university teachers who performed training in hospital wards or laboratories (otolaryngology, nephrology pediatric, inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacognosy, drugs form technology, periodontics, ophthalmology) as well as administrative staff of our university (Department of International Cooperation, Main Library, Department of Organization and Management, Department of Organisation of Teaching) who performed training in offices or took part in organized trainings or Staff Weeks.
All the desired results due to the learning process in both the home university and a partner university in case of student mobility have been achieved. The students accomplished programmme which was accepted and recognised within the requirements of the home university (period of studies was fully recognised). Students who returned from the exchange are granted with an individual curriculum in home university in order to complete any program differences. Students who implemented an obligatory training had their training recognised in home university. The scope of training to be completed (either mandatory or optional) is included in the diploma supplement. Implemented programmes (studies, placement) leads to increasing knowledge, improving professional skills of participants as well as improving language and interpersonal skills. Participation in the Erasmus +programme (studies and placement) is an important element in shaping the subsequent stages of future careers. Gained experience, contacts and improving the language skills make it easier to obtain employment in the European Union. Completed studies or placements are also taken into account in the competition when applying for PhD studies or employment in units of the home university.
In case of teachers (lectures, training) there are points allocated in a survey evaluating teaching activity for participation in the Erasmus programme. In case of administrative staff mobility their trainings are taken into account in a possible professional promotion. Gained experience and contacts during traineesheeps or Staff Weeks help to establish permanent contacts, both teaching and research carried out under agreements outside the Erasmus+ programme. Regular monitoring visits of departmentals coordinators of the Erasmus+ programmes result in the exchange of teaching experience, as well as improving implementation of the Erasmus+ programme, both in the home university and partner universities.
