IED is an International Higher Educational Network in Design, Fashion, Visual Arts and Communication. Offering Undergraduate, Advanced and Master courses. Its schools are located in Italy (Milan, Rome, Turin, Cagliari, Florence, Venice and Como “Accademia Aldo Galli”), Spain (Madrid, Barcelona) and Brazil (São Paulo, Rio De Janeiro). IED pursues the constant improvement of curricula and services provided to students, preparing young people to tackle the challenges set by the contemporary world, thorough training both theoretical and practical. IED strongly believes and focus its efforts in building up partnership with well-reputed international universities specifically with regard to equipment and industry links aimed at establishing exchange programs for our students and faculty. International partnership with friend universities through students and teachers mobility aims at: • Innovation and quality improvement of IED pedagogical method and learning experience. Partnership and cultural accreditation with universities with specialization in design and areas of interest for IED contribute to curriculum innovation, quality of faculties and teaching method improvement • Augmentation of IED students experience through a service offered to them in term of learning outcomes achievements and intercultural exchange • Innovating of IED programs and curricula • Cultural positioning of IED and accreditation within the international scene of Design Education. Internationalization program enables IED strategic positioning, Italian culture and way to do design diffusion among the emerging global creative class. During 2016 IED has renewed its partnership with CUMULUS (International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media). It also maintains links with various international Universities and Academic Associations, including: ADI (Association for Industrial Design), NAFSA (Association of International Educators), EAIE (European Association for International Education) and ELIA (European League of Institutes of the Arts).
