Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The university implemented project activities in compliance with the principles of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE). The university has completed 34 mobilities, which means two mobilities less than planned in accordance with Annex No. 1 to the Contract No. 2014-1-PL01-KA103-000219. 16 students participated in the project. In accordance with the requirements of the program, all students had completed at least first year of the first degree at the inception of mobility. 11 students went for studies and 5 students for practice. Within the framework of mobilities for studies, there were 5 students of tourism and recreation, 2 students of IT, 2 students of economics, 1 student of philology, and 1 student of physical education. Within the framework of mobilities for student practices, there were 4 students of tourism and recreation and 1 student of IT. Within the framework of mobilities of university workers, there were 13 mobilities for teaching and 6 mobilities for training. The Beneficiary has taken a number of actions to promote mobilities under the Program among students and university workers. These included providing information on the website of the International Affairs Office (the IAO) and on the university's homepage, links on the websites of scientific and administrative departments, student?s reports with photos on the IAO website, an information session for students to promote Program with participants from previous years, who were sharing their experiences about the program. IAO employees, including Institutional Coordinator of the Programme, as well as Program Coordinators from each Institute, were open for students and staff willing to learn about the rules of participation in the Program. Students were informed about the date and rules of recruitment meetings regarding mobilities for studies and practices a month in advance through the IAO website, news releases through the university internal system (ISAPS) and by messages conveyed by teachers during classes. In February 2014, the recruitment meeting was held for students wishing to go for studies in the academic year 2014/2015. There was more candidates than available mobilities. The recruitment committee selected candidates taking into account student's grades from last year, the English language proficiency and involvement in extracurricular activities and achievements, including participation in the Study Buddy Program. Recruitment meeting students willing to go for practice in the year 2014/2015 was held in February 2015. In this case there were also more candidates than available mobilities. The recruitment committee was taking into account candidates' English language proficiency, involvement in extracurricular activities and achievements, including participation in the Study Buddy Program and general motivation to take part in the Program (These measures were implemented to avoid resignations that took place in recent years). Financial agreements with students were signed before the start of the mobility. Students have also received their first part of financial support before the start of the mobility. The remaining part of support was transferred upon submission of all documents and completion of the survey. Before the start of the mobility, students were informed about the rules of using the OLS support. It is worth mentioning that the university has utilized granted accesses to the OLS language proficiency tests throughout the recruitment process. With regards to recruitment of workers, the number of candidates was higher than the number of available mobilities. The application deadline for workers was 09/14/2014. The recruitment committee has decided to give priority to people who have not yet participated in mobilities under the Program, and then to people whose previous mobilities have contributed significantly to the development of cooperation between universities and foreign institutions and rose the level of internationalization of the university as described in the Strategy of Internationalization of the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz for 2012-2015 (Internationalization Strategy). The Beneficiary has organized, in collaboration with other universities in Bydgoszcz, Orientation Weeks for incoming students of the Program at the beginning of winter and summer semesters. In terms of long-term benefits of the Program, we identify: raising of the level of internationalization of the university (including increase in the number of incoming students from abroad), improving global competence - especially by increasing English and other foreign languages proficiency among students and university staff, increasing the base of foreign partners and strengthening cooperation with them, observing and learning other teaching methods, learning how to co-operate in the international community, getting to know the specifics of functioning of foreign universities, and planning and implementing cross-border projects.
