This Project was focused on the Mobility of higher Education students, faculty members and staff member through Erasmus+ Student Mobility, Erasmus+ Internship, Erasmus+ Training Staff and Erasmus+ Teaching Staff programs. As the Office of International Programs of Koc University, our aim was to contribute to the internationalization of our universities via the Mobility of students and staff members. number and type/profile of participants; - Erasmus+ Student Mobility: 159 Koç University undergraduate and graduate students were benefited from the program - Erasmus+ Internship: 17 Koç University undergraduate and graduate students were benefited from the program - Erasmus+ Training Staff : 5 Koc University staff members were benefited from the program - Erasmus+ Teaching Staff : 2 faculty members were benefited from the program description of undertaken activities: Through the programs offered to Koc community, following activities were undertaken: - Erasmus+ Student Mobility: Eligible students were selected to participate in reciprocal exchange programs at partner host institutions. Students were obliged to take courses at the host institution and they also had a chance to experience and learn a new culture. - Erasmus+ Internship: Eligible students were selected to participate in Erasmus+ Internship program. They had the opportunity to gain Professional experience in a company/institution in the host country while getting to know a new culture. - Erasmus+ Training Staff: Administrative staff members of Koc University had the chance to learn from their peers at host institutions regarding their area of expertise. Job shadowing, training by host institutions? staff members were integrated in their programs. They also had the chance to develop a new Professional network and opportunities for their work at Koc University. - Erasmus+ Teaching Staff: Academic staff members of Koc University had the chance to teach at the host institutions for a short period of time while creating Professional network. Results and impact attained: Overall, these programs helped our students to engage in different cultural activities while expanding their horizon through valuable academic studies. These experiences also helped them to improve their English. Through these programs, our ties with partner institutions have gotten stronger. longer-term benefits: Longer term benefits exist for each target group. For faculty members, establishing close ties with faculty members from different institutions most of the time may result in joint research collaborations. For administrative staff members, longer term benefits include continuous sharing of best practices and joint activities and projects. Students, who experience mobility via Student mobility and internship programs, gain invaluable experiences through different learning opportunities. They have become globally minded citizens and their future endavours are structured around their mobility experiences now. What we observe is that students with mobility experience tend to contribute to the promotion of mobility programs as they return and they try to influence their peers. This results in increasing the number of participants in these programsin the coming years. We have seen an increase in numbers of participants when we collected applications for the 2015-16 Academic year.
