Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Participation in Key Action 1, Learning Mobility for Individuals, of the Erasmus+ programme is considered an essential condition for achieving Leiden University’s internationalisation objectives. This project not only contributed to a more diverse student population and international learning environment, but also had a positive impact on: • the number of students and staff members that were able to study, do a traineeship, participate in a training or teach at a European partner university • the development of the students’ skills needed in an increasingly globalised labour market • the collaborative networks of Leiden University in other countries and other sectors. The total number of outbound participants in this project was 284. The participants included both students and staff members of Leiden University, with the former comprising almost 94% of the total number of participants. Of the 266 students, 208 received a grant for studies, which enabled them to follow one or more courses at a partner university and 58 received a grant for a traineeship at a public / private organisation or enterprise. A total of eighteen staff members participated in an Erasmus+ mobility activity for teaching or training.
