Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

During the academic year 2014-2015 there has been a slight growth of mobilities. There was a 20% increase for students, and a 13% increase for personnel. This was the result of more intense and coordinated campaigns to inform students and personnel. There is still a long way to go in order to reach the aim of 20% mobility for 2020. Erasmus mobility is already an integrated part of studying at Thomas More. Thomas More University College uses for outgoing and incoming students the integrated approach to preparation, guidance and guidance upon return as devised in the ISBI project (= Integral Student Support in Internationalisation): We optimalise the support of students in an international context (outgoing and incoming students before, during and after the international experience, and students @ home). We develop and strengthen international and intercultural competencies for these students. Competence-based learning in internationalization is combined with PAL-techniques. Being a tutor or buddy is a unique learning opportunity, not only for international competencies but also team work, coaching etc….We continuously strive for a better quality approach of the incoming and outgoing student and personnel mobility, and move toward a full quality control of the international partnerships.
