Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Hogeschool Leiden opts for cooperation and networking with European and international partners in order to participate in the ongoing international evolution and actions within a multicultural context. This policy aims at acquiring and transeferring new knowledge and competences. Student and staff mobility is part of of this policy, as well as the tranparent use of ECTS, internationalization of curricula and internationalization at home. Erasmus+ is an increasingly important tool to achieve this goal. The still growing number of students going abroad for study or placement shows the interest of students in adding an international experience to their CV or portfolio. Since the start of Erasmus+ Hogeschool Leiden has concluded several institutional agreements, with old as well as new partners. These agreements are evaluated every year and where necessary the decision is made not to continue the cooperation. We aim at high quality of studies as well as placements and expect the same from our partner institution. The international minors we offer for students (of our partner institution but also individuals) show high quality as well. Professionalization of teaching and administrative staff remains a particular point of interest as far as the international dimension is concerned. As regards internationalization at home, students and staff at HL get the chance to eperience a European dimension as a result of the presence of foreign teachers in guest lectures and foreign students in the international minors. International events are planned to be implemented as part of the already existing curricula, in this reporting period there were no specific Erasmus+ events organized.
