De Marnix Academie vindt Internationalisering belangrijk. Ze onderschrijft dit in haar beleidsplan ‘Grenzeloos leren en onderwijzen’ (2014-2017). De implementatie ervan vindt plaats in een ingewikkelde tijd, waarbij vooral externe factoren moeilijk te beïnvloeden zijn. De Marnix Academie maakt dankbaar gebruik van de faciliteiten van het Erasmus+ programma. Ze voert dit in grote lijnen uit volgens de uitgangspunten geformuleerd in de ECHE en de EPS. In dit final report zijn ook een aantal verbeterpunten beschreven voor de komende jaren. Ze liggen met name op het terrein van de communicatie en de mobiliteitsaantallen. De mobiliteits getallen (zie dashboard) vertonen een licht dalende lijn. In het report wordt aangegeven, dat dit met name te maken heeft met externe factoren, de verplichtingen van het thuiscurriculum en de tijdsdruk. De inhoud/kwaliteit van de studenten mobiliteit laat een stijgende lijn zien. Dit wordt o.a. bereikt door een betere afstemming van de inhoud op de te volgen studie in het buitenland. Hierdoor wordt meer gestreefd naar partners met een ‘high profile’ op een bepaald gebied. Ook bij de docenten is een betere afstemming te signaleren bij de thema’s zoals geformuleerd in het ‘Internationale beleidsplan’. De toegenomen aandacht voor ‘Internationalisering’ is merkbaar in het thuiscurriculum. Meer en betere disseminatie over wat in het buitenland gebeurt. Toegenomen belangstelling voor internationale conferenties en netwerken is zichtbaar. De kernpunten van de moderniseringsagenda worden meer en meer duidelijk. Een betere kwaliteit en kwaliteitsbewaking. Een betere aansluiting bij de arbeidsmarkt en een inbedding in (internationale) netwerken. Wereldburgerschap en duurzaamheid zijn kernbegrippen voor de Marnix Academie. Het Erasmus programma heeft er zeker aan bij gedragen dit verder vorm en inhoud te geven. Summary Internationalisation is an import issue at the Marnix Academy. She endorses this policy in its policydocument 'Learning and teaching without borders (2014-2017). The implementation takes place in a complex time, in which it’s difficult to influence external factors. The Marnix Academy makes good use of the facilities of the Erasmus + program. She performs this broadly in accordance with the principles formulated in the ECHE and EPS. In this final report are also described a number of improvements for the coming years. They are in particular in the field of communication and mobility numbers. The mobility numbers (see panel) show a slightly downward trend. The report indicated that this has to do mainly with external factors, the obligations of the home curriculum and time constraints. The content / quality of student mobility shows an upward trend. This is achieved through better alignment of the content on the study abroad. This will result in more partners with a high profile in a particular area. Also there is a better match visible amongst lecturers when it comes to themes formulated in the International policy document. The increased focus on "Internationalisation" is noticeable in the home curriculum. More and better dissemination about what is happening abroad. Increased interest is visible to international conferences and networks. The core elements of the modernization agenda are becoming increasingly clear. Better quality and quality control. A better link with the labor market and embedding in (international) networks. Global Citizenship and sustainability are core issues for the Marnix Academy. The Erasmus program has certainly contributed to increase the quality of these important topics
