Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The Salesian School de la Santísima Trinidad of Seville began with projects related to mobility of High Vocational training, through the Erasmus chart in the course 2011-12; it began with four students and continued in the course 2012-13 with six, in the course 2013-14 with nine and in 2014-15 with seven. In all of these mobilities the students did the obligatory practices required. These mobilities are the result of the process of internalization of our school, that was reinforced by the Erasmus chart in 2014. Our school has focused in the participation of educative programs within an European level, in order to get a higher quality dealing with the different necessities we have. The Salesian school Santísima Trinidad has students with very different academic and social profiles, so it supposes a very important fact for us to count with these grants for our student´s development in a very different environment from the one that they know in Seville; they also can integrate in another context and improve their levels of competence and employability , as long as their linguistic competence, their maturity , autonomy and social skills. In the first courses that our students did the practices in Europe we could get the collaboration of the Aquisgran Chamber of Commerce, and through it we established the relationship with different companies and with the German professional school "Beruskoleg Julich".Step by step we have started collaborating with other countries like Poland, Italy, France, Malta and Hungary, mainly through the European Salesian network . In the last four years we have sent students from all the specialities we have: Automotive, Mechanical workship, Electricity and Electronics. Given the high demand weare having year after year of students who want work experience in Europe, our center has become aware that one of the main objectives of the program is internationalization. Wagering on different projects Erasmus + and strongly growing in this fact, both projects K1 Higher Education, Vocational Training and School Education as a shipping center and as a reception center, there is an increasingly greater motivation of students and teachers there, and generally in the educational community so our center has to continue on this path. In 2014 we obtained 6 grants subsidized by the European Agency of the 12 we asked for trainees, and also 1 assist for teachers. Once the selection process was made with the 6 selected, the seventh of its FCT (practice training) decided to list in Europe through zero Scholarship, a so 7 students and 1 teacher have made their practices this course. Applications were listed giving scores to their language skills, academic record and the attitude and personal maturity of students. Among those selected ones for this project are 5 of Automotive ,1 of Electricity and 1 of Electronics. There was one single application for the teacher who filed it in a German company according to his specialty and language level accreditation , and we did not make any selection, since it was the only proposal and he was qualified. The selection of students was done through different phases; - In March, the previous year to mobility, we gathered all students from 1st CFGS to attend a talk on the possibility that the next year they could choose to make the FCT in Europe. This time we had an ex student who has done this type of mobility to tell his experience. - In the course which the mobility took place we had a meeting with the interested students to explain the program to develop and bases candidacy - Then the student selection process was done with language test and personal interview with the team orientation. - Publication of provisional and final lists of candidates. - Meeting with selected families. - Interviews to decide where the students wanted the mobility. - Searching for companies and plan activities to develop. - Last paperwork, grant agreements, practices and signature of both. - Beginning of the Mobility. As a final result of these four years we have observed an increased interest in participation in these programs and linguistic improvement in our teachers and students, as well as job search in Europe in students.
