Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Since the beginning of the Erasmus program in 1987, Universidade de Lisboa (ULISBOA) has participated, diversifying its involvement in this across-border cooperation over the years through the various possibilities offered by the Erasmus program. The number of students, new graduates, teachers and technical and administrative staff taking part in the Erasmus experience is growing regularly and clearly contributed to the internationalization of ULISBOA. The mobilities changed the campus mindset and the way that the academics activities were conceived. Once the perimeter international is permanently considered and focused, ULISBOA is no longer seen exclusively for national potential candidates. The academic offer is also designed for international public and the connections achieved through mobility flows provided an enrichment and spread of the range of disciplines and the instruction/work language. ULisboa has targeted the goal of increasing the number of participants in the Erasmus+ Programme, both in terms of outbound and inbound flows. The university expects to provide an international mobility experience to an yearly growing number of students, teaching and administrative staff. The project execution surpassed the initial expectations: - 918 students in mobility for studies - 45 students and recent-graduated in mobility for placements, 11 of which were recent-graduated - 45 professors in mobility for teaching - 13 staff in mobility for training Regarding students mobility, we registered the participation of 97 students from disadvantage backgrounds ULisboa received 1848 students for a study perio in mobility. This number is growing year after year. New strategies are carefully designed within the scope of services and facilities to ensure the integration of foreign students in the academic life and in the city. The ULISBOA website is available in two languages. Portuguese language courses have been implemented for several years and run along each semester for a rising number of students. Together with the increase of the mobility numbers and multiplicities of participations on international projects in the Erasmus+ Program scope, a number of conditions has been developing in order to create better support to ULisboa beneficiaries of mobility Programs and better integration of the international community that choose ULISBOA. ULISBOA afford one Erasmus support office in each one of its schools which the program beneficiaries can find support for both academic and practical issues, it means all aspect of mobility preparation as visas, accommodation, insurance, academic, academic recognition, etc. At the central (rectory) level is the Mobility Unit (MU) of Department of External and International Relations (DEIR) to coordinate and monitor the participation and management of the financial part of the Erasmus program. As also is NM that prepares and establishes the contracts with beneficiaries, runs the payment of grants and verifies the compliance with the rules and contractual clauses by the beneficiaries. The contribution of Erasmus Student Network (ESN Lisboa) and structures that share the same objective, has been very important regarding the support and integration of international students. The schools of ULISBOA organize every year sessions to welcome international students and, more recently, NM organize a session to the international incoming students of its Schools. This sessions create a first empathic socializing space and allow the students to know the institution that receive than to a period of study. The dissemination of the positives results of Erasmus experience take a testimony form by previously participants in the Program which help the incoming students in the welcome sessions as also in the sessions of preparation for outgoing students. It is in construction a new project on this, using social networks to create a sharing network for mobilities experiences of ULISBOA students. The benefits of the participation in this specific action, are various, for the institution, the benefcaries, and at local and regional level. The project impacts in the internationalization of ULisboa, as well as in the city of Lisbon. For the beneficiaries, the impacts are at the level of liguistic competences and at the level of their transversal competences.
