Erasmus+ mobility project KA 103 aims towards students mobility (both study exchange and internships) as well as staff mobility (training and teaching). Salzburg UAS has been active in international exchange since the late 1990s. Salzburg UAS defined and implemented the following objectives during 2014/15: - Support to participants (information, selection, preparation, monitoring and specific support) was given by both the International Office (in person the Erasmus+ coordinators for outgoing and incoming mobilities) and the academic coordinators at each degree programme. - Linguistic support was given by providing German language classes for incoming students and inviting outgoing students to OLS and giving out licenses as well as opening up regular curricular language classes offered by the degree programmes (such as English, French, Spanish, Swedish,Italian, Russian). - Recognition of learning outcomes were guaranteed by issuing individual Learning Agreements and recognizing them in each degree programme via our internal database. The student is provided with a confirmation on succesfully completing the semester. - Cooperation with transnational partners (setting up of inter-institutional agreements, information, communication) is an established process managed by the International Office, the academic coordinators at the degree programmes as well as the rectorate and leading managment of the Salzburg UAS. During the study period 2014/15 the number of outgoing students has doubled and the number of incoming students has increased as well. Out of 133 outgoing students, 18 came from a disadvantaged background and 2 did a post-graduate internship. 39 female and 28 male students conducted SMT mobilities, 44 female and 22 male students fullfilled SMS mobilities. 38 staff teaching and training mobilities took place at the Salzburg UAS. 100% were very satisfied or rather satisfied with their mobility experience in general, which is a very positive development. 25 female and 2 male STT mobilities were fullfilled and 5 female and 6 male STA mobilities. Overall the results of the KA 103 project are very positive. Negative feedback (e.g. updated course catalogues) will be thoroughly evaluated and further measures for improvment will be taken in the next study periods.
