Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

At Queen?s University Belfast, a high value is placed on embedding an international dimension in the University?s education and research portfolio. Within the University, the Erasmus programme is viewed as a valuable programme for the personal and professional development of both students and staff through international mobility, and for increasing international research collaboration and networking opportunities. During this funding cycle 314 participants undertook an Erasmus mobility period. This was broken down into 131 student mobilities for studies, 173 student mobilities for traineeships, 9 staff mobilities for teaching and 1 staff mobility for training. 40 students undertaking a study mobility were from a Widening Participation background, which was defined in the UK as being from a family with an annual income of less than £25K. The University achieved the mobility numbers planned in the Grant Agreement and this represented an increase of 21% on the previous year?s mobility figures. This has assisted in realising the University?s objectives of increasing both outward and inbound international mobility, as outlined in its Internationalisation Strategy and Erasmus Policy. It is hoped that peer to peer feedback on the programme will lead to a further increase in participation rates.
