The mobility consortium D BERLIN02_K consists of 4 HEI and is coordinated by Technische Universitaet Berlin (TU Berlin). Our projects aim to support the outgoing mobility of students in regard to internships in Europe. The Career Service Centre at TU Berlin functions as the coordinating body of the consortium and has a long record of experiences with previous mobility programmes such as ERASMUS and Leonardo da Vinci. The main objectives of the project 2014 was the smooth transition from ERASMUS to ERASMUS+ and an increase of mobilities with a strong focus on the quality of the placements. The project enabled participants to become stronger candidates on a competitive global job market. The 4 above mentioned HEI were able to work on their internationalisation and their reputation as first-class universities making the employabilty of their graduates one of their main objectives. As the 4 HEI participating in the consortium offer a huge variety of degree programmes (covering many subjects, STEM as well as social sciences, economics, humanities, arts etc), students of various degree programmes were eligible for the scholarship scheme. The consortium initially hoped for up to 75 participants, but as the allocated funding was less than expected this goal was not achievable.
