The main goal of our project is the transnational exchange of our participants with companies, organisations and schools in Europe. The participants should transfer the theory into the practical work in their field of studies. Therefore is it very important to have of good knowledge of a foreign language; at least English but the more the better. In a merging Europe it is necessary to know the working culture and the culture of a country to be able to be a connector between two or more countries eg. companies. Most of our participants would like to work in an international company or organization when they finished their studies. Therefore they had a look for subsidiaries of German companies in Europe. We think that our students making an internship should be small ambassadors of Germany in Europe; we call them bridge builders. Europe should get the chance to learn more about Germany and our educational system throughout having interns of Germany. As we are now allowed to fund students becoming a teacher we had a lot in this project. They went to the North and West of Europe to be part of a school for a few months. We had a high number of mandatory internships but also of voluntary ones. This is good sign we think because they don´t have to go but they want to and they have a high motivation. Over all we had 81 participants coming out of all disciplines of our Consortia Universities. We had a high number of teachers, but also natural sciences and business administration. We are trying to have students from all faculties as we think it is very important for each student to have a look into another culture. All our participants came back and were very happy that they had chosen this opportunity. On the one hand side for their career but also for their personality. With our project we are trying to support the better understanding of other cultures and to accept and respect them and I guess we did it.
